Daily evaporation rates were calculated at the open-water LZ40-platform in the interior of Lake Okeechobee, Florida, from December 1, 2012 through December 31, 2016 using five methods (Shoemaker et al., 2024); specifically, the Penman, Priestly-Taylor, Mass-Transfer, Simple, and Turc equations. Bowen-ratio energy-budget derived daily evaporation rates calculated from micro-meteorological data at the LZ40 site (Wacker, 2020) are considered a standard by which to evaluate the five alternative evaporation methods. Parameterization of each of method and comparison of evaporation using each of the five methods to the Bowen ratio estimates are published by Shoemaker and others (2024).

A shapefile of the extent of irrigated agricultural fields which includes an attribute table of the irrigated acreage for the period between January and December 2020 was compiled for Lake, Marion, and Orange Counties, Florida. Attributes for each polygon that represents a field include a general or specific crop type, irrigation system, and primary water source for irrigation.

The GIS shapefile and summary tables provide irrigated agricultural land-use for Citrus, Hernando, Pasco, and Sumter Counties, Florida through a cooperative project between the U.S Geological Survey (USGS) and the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS), Office of Agricultural Water Policy. Information provided in the shapefile includes the location of irrigated land field verified for 2019, crop type, irrigation system type, and primary water source used in Citrus, Hernando, Pasco, and Sumter Counties, Florida. A map image of the shapefile is provided in the attachment.

This data release contains data for the hydrologic and water-quality characterization of Levittown Lake, from April 2010 to June 2021. Three child items were included in the data release to summarize the results of the (1) community productivity through the light and dark bottle method (2) two diel data collection efforts, and (3) spatial data associated with the bathymetric survey conducted at Levittown Lake to contour the lake bottom. Diel studies were conducted at the lake to estimate the community net primary productivity, the respiration rate, and the gross productivity rate. Two diel studies were conducted on November 18, 2010, and May 18, 2011, near the respective annual periods of highest and lowest tides...

Regional regression equations were calculated in Puerto Rico with generalized least squares techniques to estimate flood frequency statistics at ungaged locations using drainage area as the only explanatory variable. The island was divided into 2 regions to minimize residuals. The region division that resulted in lower and more balanced residuals runs primarily north-south near the center of the island, mostly along an 8-digit hydrologic unit code (HUC8) boundary. The division line runs through a HUC8 polygon on the southern end of the island, but care was taken to include entire watersheds and consideration was given where hydrologic and physiographic properties differed. This data release includes geographic information...
