This data release contains files that are associated with the publication "Understanding and predicting iron fouling associated with drainage from roadway sites constructed with rock-fill in New Hampshire, USA". Each zipped file contains a data table or raster file and an associated metadata file. IronFoulingCutFillData.zip contains a .csv file and .xml metadata file related to the roadcut and rock-fill locations used to develop a statistical model to predict the probability of iron fouling at roadway sites constructed with rock-fill in New Hampshire. Water_Quality_Measurements.zip contains a .csv file and .xml metadata file for water quality field measurements made at drainage areas from a subset of the rock-fill...

This geographic raster dataset presents statistical model predictions for the probability of exceeding 40 gallons per minute well yield from a 400 foot deep well, and is based on the available data. The model was developed as part of the New Hampshire Bedrock Aquifer Assessment. The New Hampshire Bedrock Aquifer Assessment was designed to provide information (including this raster) that can be used by communities, industry, professional consultants, and other interests to evaluate the ground-water development potential of the fractured-bedrock aquifer in the State. The assessment was done at statewide, regional, and well field scales to identify relations that potentially could increase the success in locating high-yield...

These are rainfall and stream stage data collected at gaging sites in Maine. Data were collected from March to October from 2008 to 2015 and include stage data at crest stage gages, ratings to convert stage data to streamflow data, previously unpublished rainfall data, rainfall binned into specified time intervals, and storm files combining rainfall and streamflow data. Data were collected, compiled and combined in order to analyze the lag to peak (the time between the center of volume of the rainfall and the peak streamflow) for small basins in Maine.
ScienceBase brings together the best information it can find about USGS researchers and offices to show connections to publications, projects, and data. We are still working to improve this process and information is by no means complete. If you don't see everything you know is associated with you, a colleague, or your office, please be patient while we work to connect the dots. Feel free to contact sciencebase@usgs.gov.
