This portal provides a space to share external data references and new data generated for the MultiHazards Project based. Here you can find and download, as well as upload, all types of information, including spatial data, imagery, maps, and publications. The types of information currently available through this portal nclude past and present demographic, economic and infrastructure data, links to USGS publications relevant to the MultiHazards project, and links to LiDAR resources with instructions to guide you in your search.You can view and access specific categories of these data by expanding the left sidebar and clicking on the "Saved Searches" link. Some data are proprietary or have distribution restrictions, which means that you must be logged in as a MultiHazards community member to gain access. If you would like to request access, please contact Dan Ponti at dponti@usgs.gov.
To find items of interest, this portal uses a very powerful search engine not unlike the popular web search engines you may be used to (e.g. Google or Bing), but it operates a little differently which can be confusing at first.
