The USCG Units data provides identifier and location information for Coast Guard units. Identity attributes are unit name, administrative target unit code, operational facility code and modifier, and unit type. Location information is provided using latitude, longitude and address. Latitude/Longitude accuracy is identified by means of an enumerated attribute. The units are found primarily in the United States and its territories. The information was collected from the Coast Guard Shore Asset Management System and Enterprise Data Warehouse databases, along with the Standard Distribution List. Location data is maintained and verified at the Coast Guard Logistics Geospatial Integration Center.
