Lake Erie Geology Group Core

Summary

The inventory consists of 37 vibracores, with a maximum length of 2.5 meters drilled for various projects conducted by the Lake Erie Geology Group of the Ohio Geological Survey. Cores were taken from Lake Erie or study areas located onshore in Erie, Lucas, or Ottawa Counties, Ohio. Each core has been cut in half and core diameters are 6.35 cm or 8.25 cm in diameter. Limited data available consists of well number, geographical location, coordinates, centimeters cored, and miscellaneous notes. These cores have been assigned Division of Geological Survey core numbers 3658 to 3694.
