Summary

This sample consists of washed rock cuttings collected from well SOWB-2 at a depth of approximately 220 feet below the ground surface and is identified as sample SOWB-2-220. This well is the shallower of two nested bedrock wells drilled in Coleman State Park, Town of Stewartstown, Coos County, New Hampshire. Total well depth is 303 feet. This well is part of the New Hampshire Ground Water Level Monitoring Network, which is monitored and maintained by the New Hampshire Geological Survey. The well drilling log associated with this sample is part of Collection ID# P1655. The sample description from the well log identifies the sample as: metavolcanic schist, dark gray, little pyrite, quartz, feldspar.
