Summary

This sample consists of washed rock cuttings collected from well RGWB-1 at a depth of approximately 320 feet below the ground surface and is identified as sample RGWB-1-320. This well is the deeper of two nested bedrock wells drilled in Annett State Forest, Town of Rindge, Cheshire County, New Hampshire. Total well depth is 445 feet. This well is part of the New Hampshire Ground Water Level Monitoring Network, which is monitored and maintained by the New Hampshire Geological Survey. The well drilling log associated with this sample is part of Collection ID# P1655. The sample description from the well log identifies the sample as: salt and pepper appearance, some muscovite, biotite.
