USGS - science for a changing world

On the South side of Chestnut Hill is an outcrop of very large boulders in the woods of Hanby Park near Arden, DE. This area of the park seems to be the site of an old quarry with boulders of fine-grained mafic properties and traces of coarse-grained charnockite. These photos were taken by Sebastian Carisio as part of the Data Preservation Project 2009-2010.
