ND State Fossil Collection: Consists of vertebrate, invertabrate, plant, microfossil, and trace fossil specimens primarily from North Dakota.
There are two primary needs that would enhance the ND State Fossil Collection. 1) Additional space to house the collection is needed. This could be accomplished by increasing the physical space for the collection and by adding compaction storage units. 2) Because collection management is a time consuming process an additional staff member assigned specifically to that task would be desirable.
