Wildlife Mortality Information - Avian Cholera

Summary

This data set portrays the incidence of avian cholera in the United States. The data set was extracted from the U.S. Geological Survey National Wildlife Health Center's (NWHC) EPIZOO database, which is a long term data set that documents over 30 years of information on epizootics (epidemics) in wildlife. EPIZOO tracks die-offs throughout the United States and territories, primarily in migratory birds and endangered species. The data set contains specific information about each particular die-off event, including an identification number, the location and dates of the event, the county, the top five species involved, and the mortality numbers. This is an update of the May 2000 data set.
