FOREST VEGETATION COMPOSITE POLYGONS: An instantiated table joining VEG_COMP_POLY and VEG_COMP_LYR_L2_VW on FEATURE_ID. This SDE layer coverage contains vegetation cover from the Ministry of Forests. Attribute information is also maintained in this table. This joined table was created to support the Data Distribution Services on the LRDW.

Coverage is limited to TSA and Park lands of British Columbia, Large private land holdings and TFL licence area are excluded from this data. 1:20,000. Data should comply with TRIM positional accuracy requirement of +- 20 metres 85 % or more of the time.
Comprehensive data attribute standards exist for the VRI attribute data, which is exclusively tied to the veg_vegetation_cover_polygon shapes. The data custodian quality assures all records following their update and performs internal and external data audits. The practices, procedures and accuracy of regional update centres and contractors are also periodically audited. This data can be considered as reasonably accurate (TSA only). Data covering the TFL portions of the Province is not stored in the LRDW. THis data is the responsibility of the TFL Licensee
