Summary

Habitat based assessments were conducted of the U.5. Army Corps of Engineers' hydroelectric projects in the Willamette River Basin, Oregon, to determine losses or pains to wildlife and/or wildlife habitat resulting from the development and operation of the hydroelectricrelated components of the facilities, Preconstruction., postconstruction, and recent vegetation cover types at the project sites were mapped based on aerial photographs. Vegetation cover types were identified within the affected areas and acreages of each type at each period were determined.
