Alaska Earthquake March 27, 1964. Segment of Hanning Bay fault trace on Montague Island, looking northeast showing surface flexure 3 to 5 feet high is broken by gaping sub-parallel right-handed en echelon cracks, 3 to 6 feet apart. Gullies that intersect the scarp at right angles show no evidence of lateral offset that would suggest strike-slip displacement. Arrow indicates location of photo no.119.
