Album caption: Great granite glacial boulder and blocks split from the side, one and one-half miles south-southwest from Hardwick, on crest west of road to Gilbertville, Mass. Circumference 89 feet, over top from ground to ground 49 feet, piece split off the side 53 feet circumference, 7 feet maximum thickness. Barre quadrangle.
