Clark's gravel pit 1.5 miles in SE 1/4 of SW 1/4, Sec. 31, Guilford Tp. In north part of pit is iron conglomerate. No till over. Gravel mostly loose, yellowish, pebbles, limestone and crystalline, mostly sound. Illinois. June 20, 1908. Handwritten note on album caption: No. 387. Rockford quadrangle. Winnebago County.
