Album caption: Panorama with image 418. View of the Northwestern Iron Company mine at Iron Ridge, Wisconsin. in Sec. 12, Hubbard Township, T. 11 N., R. 16 E. Showing 15-20 feet of Niagara limestone, being stripped from the surface of the iron ore bed, which is here about 12 feet in thickness. The ore is readily broken up so as to be removed by steam shovel. Dodge County, Wisconsin. July 27, 1909.
