Quartzone sandstone from the Nanushuk Group, having abundant quartz-overgrowth development. Sample 78ACh25, Marmot syncline. Quartz cement migrated from the monocrystalline quartz grain into the adjacent polycrystalline quartz grain, which has been corroded. Polarized light. Magnification, 6.3 x 10, photomicrographs.
