Early stage in replacement of limestone by copper ore, banded partially marmorized limestone cut by strike fissures, Highland Boy mine no. 6 level, looking west. In the walls of these fissures characteristic contact metamorphic minerals appear, and chalcopyrite and specularite replace metamorphic limestone. Salt Lake County, Utah. 1900, plate 31-A in U.S. Geological Survey. Professional paper 38. 1905.
