Polished vertical section of a reef formed of recumbent discoid colonies of Chlorellopsis coloniata Reis. The colonies near the center and upper parts of the specimen show faintly the concentric growth layers, which are convex outward along the radii of the colonies, natural size. Specimen is from 3700 feet above the base of the Green River formation on the west side of the Duchesne-Price mail road; T.6 S, R.7 W. Duchesne County, Utah. August 31, 1925.
