Photomicrograph of a specimen from an analcite crystal bed with a distinctly tuffaceous matrix; showing sub parallel orientation of the large biotite flakes, some of which are deeply embedded in the analcite crystals. The medium toned gray matrix is chalcedony. From a bed in the north wall of White River canyon, T. 1 N., R. 103 W., enlarged 80 diameters. Rio Blanco County, Colorado. 1927.
