Album caption and index card: Damage to the Phantom Ranch Campground caused by the flood of December 1966. Prior to the flood, restrooms were located in the area in the center, and a bridge crossed the creek in the foreground to provide access to the campground. The fireplace at left center indicates the former ground level. Grand Canyon National Park, Coconino County, Arizona. ca. 1966. Published as Figure 14 in U.S. Geological Survey.
