Album Caption: Mount Rainier National Park, Washington. Mounds on the Greenwater lahar in the Buck Creek area. The mound at the right center consists wholly of angular blocks of granodiorite; it is about 25 feet high and 100 feet in diameter. Adjacent mounds consist mostly of material derived from Mount Rainier. Circa 1964. Pierce County, Washington. Published in U.S. Geological Survey Professional paper 677, figure 7. 1971.
