Album Caption: Talus of lower Cambrian quartzite formed by glacial action and frost. On western flank of Green Mountain range contour 2550 near Manchester and Sunderland town line, looking north, down Lye Brook. In distance the range intermediate between the Taconic and Green Mountain Ranges with Vermont Valley east of it. Bennington County, Vermont. 1900. Published in U.S. Geological Survey Bulletin 272, Plate 4. 1905.
