Form a panoramic view of Cumberland and Columbus basins, the sharp hinge fold that characterizes the La Plata dome passes down the left side of Columbus Basin but is obscured by the large porphyry mass on Snowstorm Peak (Cumberland Mountain and Snowstorm Peak are left and right respectively in photo 32). These basins and the one at the head of the South Fork Hermosa Creek shown in the left foreground have been glaciated; view looking southeast from Indian Trail Ridge. La Plata County, Colorado.
