Lower contact of a thin (about 6 feet) dike of Westerly Granite in Hope Valley Alaskite Gneiss. Note inclusions of the alaskite. The large one is not rotated, the small on is. Primary flow lineation in the alaskite parallels the hammer handle, same structure in the smaller inclusion parallels the pencil. North shore of Yawgoog Pond due north of Phillips Island, Hopkinton, Washington County, Rhode Island. July 1962.
