Summary

Guatemala Earthquake 1976. Southward along a repaired railroad line that is crossed at nearly right angles by the Motagua fault in a plantation area of the lower Motagua Valley. The prominent kink in the railroad line, straight prior to the earthquake, was caused by sinistral fault displacement of approximately 130 centimeters. 1976.
