Summary

Southward across valley of Rock Creek, an eastern tributary of Kern River. The valley was occupied by a glacier, and much of the slope in the view is constituted of moraines. Beyond these is a hanging valley, also glacial, and overlooked by a remnant of ancient plateau. Tulare County, California. 1903.
