Vanadium ore near roof of Primos Chemical Company's vanadium mine on the east side of Big Bear Creek about 100 feet from the portal. The ore at this point was 35 feet thick. The light streaks in the picture show silicifies sandstone; the darker blotches are vanadiferous sandstone. San Miguel County, Colorado. August 3, 1911.
