Looking southwest toward Seboyeta Peak (Celosa, Cerro de la) the peak is composed of andesitic breccia intruded by andesite dikes, some of which can be seen at the left protruding above the lower park of the neck. Cibola County, New Mexico. 1930. Plate 16-A, U.S.Geological Survey Professional paper 189-B. 1938. Album caption: Hunti, 213. Valencia County, N.M., Seboyeta Peak, a volcanic neck. Viewed from the N.E. The neck consists largely of breccia irregulary intruded by andesitic dikes. The country rock is mancos shale. Index card: Photo date, 1932.
