Personal communication from Eugene A. Miller on 05/05/2007, "I don't believe Jackson's wife ever accompanied him on any of his photographic trips, certainly not in 1869, nor did Jackson stop at the North Platte River in 1869. Thus the 'wife', the location on the North Platte River, and the year are all unlikely. I suggest the photo be relocated to the 'undated' group."
