Album caption and index card: Crater of the Grand Geyser. Nearly opposite the Castle, and so named from the great force and power it displays in its eruptions, varying from 150 to 250 feet in height. For a space of 10 feet about the crater the surface is adorned with beautifully scalloped little reservoirs, filled with the clear, transparent waters from the geyser.
