Personal communication from Alan Terrell on February 11, 2021, "jwh00274, jwh00864, and jwh01488. These are of badlands near Ft. Casper. There were taken on August 23, 1870. Jackson's diary supporting entry, '(16 1/2m) With Dr. Ell. Giff. & Ford went back with ambulance and made a few views of the Bad Lands.'"
