Green River at Browns Hole, below the Red Canyon, calm, quiet, and peaceful, recuperating for the still more turbulent passage of the deeper, gloomier, and longer canyons below. The sandy beach at the left shows the footprints of numerous deer, bears, and elk that frequent these banks. Daggett County, Utah. 1870.
