Album caption: Mount Capulin from the west, shwoing the mouth of the crater about a quarter of a mile wide. The dark spots at the foot of the slope are pine trees about 75 feet high. The south slope of the mountain (right side) is covered with a forest of scrub pine. circa 1909. Handwritten note on album caption: Union County, New Mexico.
