Album caption and index card: The Neck and Shafer Trail, looking southwest, taken before rebuilding the park road on the mesa top. Cliff-walled canyon to the right of The Neck, in the middle, drains westward to the Green River; south fork of Shafer Canyon on the left drains eastward to the Colorado River.
