Album caption and index card: View looking northeast from the top of Mount Hancock showing, at extreme right margin, the lower part of the type section of the Harebell Formation.. Indicated are the unconformable contact between the Bacon Ridge Sandstone and the Harebell Formation, Chicken Ridge and an exposure of 3,000 feet of the Harebell, Sickle Creek, Barlow Peak, and exposure of 2,700 feet of Harebell, Cody Shale, and the Southeast Arm of Yellowstone Lake. Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming. Circa 1967. Published as Figure 5 in U.S. Geological Survey. Professional Paper 734-A. 1973.
