Yosemite National Park, California. Glacial grooves on the border of a lake in Cathedral Pass. The glacier polish has disappeared, for the most part, as a result of intense frost action; but the grooves, being deep, remain in evidence. The ice came from a cirque on the right. Circa 1914.
