Monoclinal valley in Tropic shale along East Kaibab monocline east of Butler Valley; the hogback ridges at right are formed by overlying sandstones tilted by the East Kaibab fold, looking north from a point near the "Gut" on the Kaiparowits Plateau trail southeast of Cannonville.
