Contorted laminae in flat-lying sandstone layer in the Lance formation in Sec. 4, T. 4 N., R. 35 E. sandstone is 75 feet below the base of the Tullock member. The apparent crumpling is probably due to concretionary action. Treasure County, Montana. 1912. Published as Plate 6-A in U.S. Geological Survey Bulletin 749. 1923.
