Outcrop of Kingak formation on the Canning River, oblique aerial photograph, looking westward across the Canning River toward the exposure of Kingak shale in the cut banks. The promontory in the center of the picture separates the two cut banks from which microfossil samples were collected by George Gryc. Northern Alaska. 1947.
