Album caption and index card: Few raft parties pass here without stopping: between 1963, when Glen Canyon Dam was completed, and August 1972, an estimated 50,000 people had visited this site. Saltcedar, sandbar willow, and seep willow grow densely at the mouth of Deer Creek in spite of the heavy human impact. The large blocks and boulders have not changed noticeably but changes involving some of the smaller rocks along the beach are evident.
