Summary

Another photo of the Red Rocks area, also known as the Christianberg area. This view is northwestward and shows the eastward-dipping Indianola beds (in right foreground) overlain by the westward-dipping Price River-North Horn sequence. The North Horn beds here appear faintly red, with the red mudstones mantled by light-gray limestone debris from the overlying Flagstaff limestone, which here appears as a series of medium-thick, light-gray limestone beds. The area is in the NE1/4, Sec. 13, T. 19 S., R. 1 E. Sanpete County, Utah. Spring 1980.
