View looking northward at hogback near the ancestral course of Willow Creek. Ridge on the left underlain by Green River strata, which dip westward. Strike valley underlain by Colton strata, which appear on the hogback (center) as red conglomerates. Light-gray cockscomb, dipping westward, is Flagstaff limestone. The beds below (right of) the Flagstaff limestone are part of the Colton Formation. A high-angle normal fault, dipping east, extends along the east edge of the Flagstaff limestone. Exposure in Secs. 3 and 4, T. 21 S., R. 1 E. Sevier County, Utah. Spring 1980.
