View looking eastward at a small knoll composed of overturned, eastward-dipping Colton and Flagstaff strata, near ancestral course of Willow Creek. The gray, intricately dissected hills with touches of pink in the background are part of the Arapien shale. Crest of the Wasatch Plateau, mantled with clouds, is in the distance. This exposure is in the SE1/4, Sec. 3, T. 21 S., R. 1 E. Sevier County, Utah. Spring 1980.
