Looking northward at the north end of the hogback north of ancestral Willow Creek. Valley in the middle distance is Willow Creek. Dark reddish-brown beds are part of the Jurassic Twist Gulch Formation that dip westward and abut the vertical beds of the Paleocene-Eocene Flagstaff limestone (light gray). Exposure interpreted to show downthrow of the Twist Gulch beds as the result of the collapse of the axial part of the diapiric fold. Exposure is in the SW1/4, Sec. 26, T. 20 S., R. 1 E.
