Summary

Industrial mineral site no. 2, known as "Enumclaw" is a site in both King and Pierce Counties, Washington. This site has been associated with alunite. A notation found in DGER Bulletin 37 on page 5 says "Disseminations and fracture fillings in altered andesites", and designates the value as "Extensive drilling in 1940 by Kalunite, Inc. indicates 588,000 tons of alunite, which is probably an insufficient quantity to offset the initial expense of a plant capable of treating the ore".
