Industrial mineral site no. 79, known as "Shallenberger deposit" is a site in Stevens County, Washington. This site has been associated with barite. A notation found in DGER Bulletin 37 on page 10 says "3 to 12-in. vein exposed by surface trenches and underground for distance of 300 ft. Vein carries a little copper and iron", and designates the value as "Barite shipped in 1938".
