Industrial mineral site no. 197, known as "H Seidel Clay Co., formerly Stand ard Stoneware Co., and prior to that Bergman Clay Manufacturing Co". is a site in Spokane County, Washington. This site has been associated with common clays and shales. A notation found in DGER Bulletin 37 on page 22 says "Latah clay from Sommer pit mixed with Palouse clay from Freeman", and designates the value as "Recently used in making flowerpots".
