Industrial mineral site no. 218, known as "Kangley" is a site in King County, Washington. This site has been associated with refractory clays and shales. A notation found in DGER Bulletin 37 on page 24 says "Two beds of high-alumina claystone. The upper is more than 8 ft. thick, the lower, 5% ft. thick", and designates the value as "Claystone of commercial quality and quantity could be obtained by underground mining".
