Summary

Industrial mineral site no. 896, known as "Cranberry Lake" is a site in Island County, Washington. This site has been associated with peat. A notation found in DGER Bulletin 37 on page 73 says "The area is 180 acres. The maximum thickness of Sphagnum is 45 feet. The maximum fibrous thickness is 34 feet".
